One of the best choices for small to medium surf and truly for all ability levels, Equinox mini-longboards offer performance, style, and exceptional board control. With greater maneuverability than a true longboard, mini-longboards boards provide Novice surfers an opportunity to get up on smaller waves in order to develop board control and an understanding of wave dynamics. At the same time, there is an inherent performance built into these boards that allows today’s (Intermediate +) surfer with the ability catch a bunch of waves and make some great turns while their at it.
With sizes from 8’0” to 8’6”, our mini-longboards are great for knee high waves to charging the biggest over-head waves.
Whether you are a beginner looking to ride your first waves or a seasoned surfer looking to get a little extra foam under your feet, this board will fit all ability levels. Designed with a wide nose and squash tail, this board is very stable but still incredibly responsive because of it's optional 3 fin setup. If you prefer that single fin feel, remove the two side fins and get cruising. It is constructed with the Australian foam blanks in the same facility as many other high-end boards selling for $600-$700.
